A 17-year-old Maryland boy killed his 5-year-old half-sister — then fled nearly 500 miles before authorities tracked him down, police are alleging.

Stephen Jarrod Davis II was located by authorities Saturday in Springfield, Ohio, and had been charged with first-degree murder, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.

The teen was identified as the prime suspect in the slaying of his half-sibling, Anaya Jannah Abdul, whose body was found around 8:15 a.m. that day at a home in Pasadena, Maryland.

An autopsy determined that her death came from multiple sharp force injuries, authorities said.

No motive has been released.

“For a child to have that much rage on another child, why? I think that’s the main question all of us are asking,” Lt. Jackie Davis told news station WBAL-TV.

On Sunday, the teen was awaiting extradition to Maryland, where he will be charged as an adult, authorities said.

It’s unclear where he was heading when officers nabbed him.

“We don’t know if he had family out there. We don’t know if he was just aimlessly driving away. We’re not sure yet,” Davis said.
