Trump improving after COVID-19 treatment, White House says

President Trump is continuing to improve and will meet with his medical team later Monday, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows told Fox News.

“Spoke to the President this morning. He continued to improve overnight and is ready to get back to a normal working schedule. He will meet with his doctors and nurses this morning to make further assessments of his progress,” Meadows said, according to Fox News’ John Roberts. “We are still optimistic that he will be able to return to the White House later today.”

Trump has been receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center since being transported there last Friday.

He tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday.
