A pregnant Texas woman and her unborn child have tragically been killed after another woman allegedly cut the baby from her womb and fled across state lines.
Crime-Online reports that the victim has been identified as 22-year-old Reagan Hancock, who was almost eight months pregnant when she was allegedly attacked in her home in New Boston, Bowie County, on Friday morning by another woman.
According to reports, the assailant forcibly cut Reagan’s unborn baby girl from her belly and then left her to die from her injuries, taking the infant to a hospital in Oklahoma nearly 50 miles away. The child has since died.
It is believed the female suspect, who has not been named, was a friend of Reagan’s.
KTBS reports that the victim died at a residence in New Boston, Texas, on Friday. A female suspect has reportedly been taken into custody. The woman who died was close to eight months pregnant, and the unborn child did not survive.Crime-Online
As The Mirror reports, the heavily pregnant woman was discovered by her mother after she was killed in her Texas home.
Reagan’s mother, Jess Brooks, said in a social media post that her daughter had been “murdered by Satan in the flesh.”
“Our beautiful daughter Reagan Hancock and her precious unborn baby girl Braxlynn were murdered yesterday by Satan in the flesh,” the grief-stricken mom wrote, revealing her daughter planned to name the child Braxlynn Sage.
The young woman was already a mother to a three-year-old girl and was expecting her second child with her husband, Homer. Their second daughter was due on November 10.

Friends and family identified Reagan as the victim of the horrific ‘womb-raiding’ crime in social media posts and revealed she had been friends with her attacker.
“Reagan Hancock and her unborn baby were selfishly killed by someone Reagan considered a friend,” a PayPal fund set up for the married mother-of-one reads.
As The Daily Mail reports, police are yet to reveal a motive for the killing of the heavily pregnant Texas woman, however the suspect has been charged with kidnapping and murdering an unborn child.
The woman was arrested in Idabel, Oklahoma after reportedly crossing the state border following the attack and taking the infant to a hospital, where she later died.

As The New York Post reports, the fundraiser set up for the pregnant Texas woman after she and her unborn baby were brutally killed has already raised more than $12,000.
“Our Reagan was one of the most precious people you would ever meet. Please I beg keep us in your prayers,” the page reads.
“We are trying to raise money for Homer and their daughter. Let’s rally together and raise enough money to take any stress off him for any and all expenses that will occur.”
More charges are expected to be brought against the female suspect, officials confirmed.
