Trump on Post’s Hunter Biden exposé: China will ‘own’ the US if Joe Biden wins

WASHINGTON — President Trump warned that China’s ruling Communist government would “own” the United States if Joe Biden became president, citing his son Hunter Biden’s shady overseas business dealings exposed by The Post.

The commander-in-chief told Fox Business’ “Varney & Co.” that Beijing could even “blackmail” a President Biden because of his oft-troubled son’s secretive ties to China’s largest private energy company and $1.5 billion payday while the elder Biden was serving in the White House.

Trump also railed against Twitter and Facebook’s unprecedented censoring of the cache of documents published by The Post on Wednesday — calling the social media giants “a third arm of the DNC” after they blocked the sharing of The Post’s articles on Hunter Biden’s emails from a computer recovered in Delaware.

”It’s like a third arm, but maybe the first arm, of the DNC, Twitter and Facebook,” referring to the Democratic National Committee. “It’s a massive campaign contribution. This is the third arm of the DNC.”

The commander-in-chief unloaded on Twitter after it prevented its users from sharing a link to reporting on Hunter Biden’s emails which indicated he brokered a meeting between his then-VP dad Joe Biden and a Ukrainian gas executive who was under investigation.

The company also locked the accounts of some of its users, including gagging The Post, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and the president’s re-election campaign.

Trump warned he would take legal action again the platforms which he targeted earlier this year by signing an executive order which seeks to curtail their legal liability protection.

Host Stuart Varney asked Trump if he believed the story was a “set-up,” a charge that is being leveled by some critics.

“I don’t know what a set-up is. They have the guy’s laptop. Hunter Biden was a disaster. Hunter didn’t have a job. Hunter got thrown out of the military,” the president said.

“His father becomes vice president and Hunter starts making millions and millions of dollars, the dad, too. You check him out,” he said.
