The gov can’t find love.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo admitted on “The Daily Show” Thursday that single life isn’t going so hot — because he can’t get a date.
“On a human level, on a social level, nobody wants to have dinner with me,” he told host Trevor Noah, with a laugh. “I have no offers.”
Cuomo, who has been single for over a year, was asked by the comedian if he’s had time for romance while battling the spread of the coronavirus.
“I last remember you being single, and the weather is changing which means it’s going to be harder to go out for a date because you can’t be inside with strangers,” Noah said. “Have you taken the time to just at least have a socially distance meal with anyone?”
After three-term Democrat copped to being unlucky in love, the host laughed and told him, “You get us through the second or third wave [of COVID-19], and I’m telling you a lot of those offers will come rolling in.”
During the 15 minute “Daily Show” segment, Cuomo also discussed the state of nursing homes in New York and administering vaccines.
